She’s the champ I play every single day. The only one keeping me in League of Legends. And I’m not exaggerating: to me, Zeri is the Pikachu of Zaun.

Pikachu always meant something special. My brother, in his final days fighting leukemia, wouldn’t let go of our Pikachu plushie. My mom still tells that story. Years later, LoL helped me cope with another loss: my son’s.

I almost quit the game out of frustration (lol), but then Zeri arrived. Her bond with her grandma created a connection even Riot can’t nerf. I’m still here... Just for her.

Now, that same Zeri is pulling me back into drawing. I’m making tons of mistakes trying to apply my own style – the one I built from scratch. But I’m trying, for real this time. Soon, besides fan art, I’ll post real people in my style (avatars or caricatures only I can make).

Ela é a personagem que eu jogo todo dia. A única que me mantém no League of Legends. E não é exagero: pra mim, a Zeri é a Pikachu de Zaun. ⚡
O Pikachu sempre foi especial. Meu irmão, nos seus últimos dias de luta contra a leucemia, não largava o nosso Pikachu de brinquedo. Minha mãe sempre conta isso. Anos depois, o LoL (como falei no outro post) me ajudou a lidar com outra perda: a do meu filho. E estou recomeçando aqui lembrando deles.
Já tava quase desistindo do jogo pelo estresse (hahaha), mas aí veio a Zeri. A ligação dela com a avó é algo que me identifico, e é uma conexão que nem a Riot consegue nerfar. Continuo lá... Só por causa dela.
E agora, essa mesma Zeri tá me fazendo voltar a desenhar. Tô cometendo muitos erros pra aplicar meu próprio estilo – aquele que criei do zero. Mas tô tentando, de verdade dessa vez. Em breve, além das FanArts, vou postar uns desenhos de pessoas reais no meu estilo (avatars ou caricaturas que só eu faço).
